Parallel Importation of Books is still a hot topic of discussion, with the Productivity Commission to report their recommendations to the Federal Government in the middle of May.
Australia Talks (ABC Radio National) ran a talkback session on the issue on Tuesday, 28th April with many beautifully articulated arguments from those involved in the Australian Publishing Industry - and most especially, from children's authors across Australia. (There were also comments from 'the other side' and it was by no means a biased program!)

And if you listen real hard, you may for a short time, even hear a short spruke by one beginning children's writer, 'Kathryn from Queensland.'
