Queensland children's book authors and illustrators protested peacefully outside Dymocks Brisbane City store on Thursday, 16 April. Since I couldn't be there, I made my placard and emailed it off to organisers. So I still got to have my say.
Don't forget to sign the petition (http://www.ausbooks.com.au/petition.php) to have your say in favour of Australian books for Australian readers. Do this today - Thursday, 16 April. Tomorrow will be too late.
